Who we are

ScaleNex is an Australian business operating as a hospitality supply and technology network. We connect restaurants, cafés, pubs and other hospitality venues to supply partners, technology providers and business services.

What information we collect

We collect different types of information depending on how you interact with us.

From venue owners and business contacts:

• Business name, type and location
• Name, role, phone number and email address of the person we are in contact with
• Information about your current suppliers and operational costs, where you choose to share it
• Notes from our conversations and meetings
• Order and account history if you become a ScaleNex customer

From referrers:

• Name, phone number and email address
• ABN for payment processing
• Information about the venues you refer to us

From website visitors:

• Information submitted through contact or registration forms (name, email, phone, state)
• Standard web analytics data such as pages visited and browser type — we do not use this to identify individuals

We do not collect sensitive information such as health information, financial account numbers, government identifiers or information about racial or ethnic origin.

Why we collect it

We collect personal information only for purposes directly related to our business. Specifically:

• To contact you about services relevant to your business
• To assess whether ScaleNex can save you money or improve your operation
• To manage our commercial relationship with you if you become a customer or referrer
• To process referral fee payments to registered referrers
• To comply with our legal obligations
• To improve how we communicate and operate

We do not use your information for unrelated purposes without your consent.

How we store your information

Your information is stored in a secure cloud-based CRM system operated using Google Firebase, a platform provided by Google LLC. Firebase is used globally by businesses of all sizes and is certified to ISO 27001, SOC 2 and SOC 3 standards. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Access to our CRM system is restricted to authorised ScaleNex personnel only. We use strong password protection and access controls to prevent unauthorised access.

We retain your information for as long as we have a business relationship with you, or as long as required by law. When information is no longer needed, we delete it securely.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. Ever.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• With our supply and technology partners — only to the extent necessary to deliver a service you have agreed to, such as arranging produce delivery or setting up a technology platform
• With our internal team — sales representatives and staff who need it to manage your account
• With service providers — such as email and CRM platforms used to operate our business, all of whom are bound by appropriate data handling obligations
• Where required by law — if we are required to disclose information by a court order, regulator or other legal obligation

We do not disclose your information to third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
